Will my Health Insurance cover chiropody services?
Most extended health care plans cover chiropody treatments as well as all or a portion of devices such as; custom orthotics, orthopaedic footwear and compression stockings. Please note we DO NOT direct bill for visits. A receipt will be provided to you which you will submit for insurance coverage.
Is it possible to pay for a Orthotic Prescription only and have my orthotics made elsewhere?
In keeping with best practice College guidelines we DO NOT supply ‘stand alone’ prescriptions for custom orthotics to be used at alternate clinics. The purpose of this is to cut down on fraudulent claims when orthotics are ordered from third party providers. If you are measuring, casting and ordering your orthotics from our office we are happy to provide all the paperwork necessary, including an orthotic prescription.
