Custom made orthopaedic footwear is intended to accommodate anatomical abnormalities and deformities as well as foot shapes and sizes that will not fit into traditional off the shelf footwear. A custom shoe takes into account the gait abnormalities and range of motion functions of the foot, ankle and leg to enhance healthy posture and function when walking.
This form of footwear is built from scratch using a casted mold of the foot. Several styles, colours, shapes and materials are available when creating a custom made shoe.
